Can anyone recommend a slightly better camera?
I really like this one:

but it's flash and color balance is really bad. can anyone recommend a slightly better camera w/ a reasonable price?

try the olympus fe330 or the olympus fe370. They're pretty comparable to the canon but the photo quality is slightly better.
