Why are Xbox 360 games the same price as PS3 games?
Everyone says Blu-ray discs are more expensive so why aren't the ps3 games more? Xbox 360 games should be the same price as PS2 games.
To make money of course. If you lower the prices of XBOX360 games people will think the quality of the product is not good. So cost more means better right? Well at least in theory it is sound but when we add a lot of elements to this situation the theory can be broken. $59.99 and people are still willing to buy it then keep selling it at that price. It's all due to inflation; new games back on the PS1 use to cost $49.99 and now they add another $10.00 to the price. But eventually the price of the games come down to $49.99, $39.99, $29.99, $19.99 and then $9.99 and then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and then practically worth nothing. But Blu-ray discs are more expensive to manufacture though and Sony has been taking losses since the introduction of the PS3. They have to outweigh the costs of the PS3 by selling more games and higher prices to offset the losses. Same for the XBOX360 because of the whole RROD debacle.
