Is my baby about to crawl?

My daughter is 6 1/2 months old. Lately she's been getting on her hands and her knees, and rockiing herself back and forth. Sometimes she'll kind of leap across the floor (she'll push off her knees and launch forward... like a frog). I caught her moving around the floor (backwards) and laying under a table. It's weird behavior but I can't wait til she get active! (ok, sometimes I can't wait, sometimes I just want her to be 5 already..)

That is a sign she is getting ready to crawl. But it could still be a month or two before she really goes.
Put an object just out of her reach.... something she likes. She may move forward to get it.
