What is a job that requires you to sit at a desk all day long?
This is just for a novel that I am writing. I want my main character to be one of the bosses or CEO of some sort of company where he has to answer phone calls and sit at his desk for most of the day. Does anyone know of any jobs like that?
Sure--most jobs! Account (accountancy firm), inbound call center, insurance office, comcast, construction co. office, a bookkeeper, a web-designer. Just about every job! Except for jobs where you are out in the field, selling insurance, or advertising, etc. A nurse walks around the hospital all day. Haven't you ever gone to an office where anybody works?
