Could there be spirits trying to contact us?
Hi, me and my boyfriend have recently moved into an old converted barn, next to a very very old farm house, when we first moved in we were both suffering with horrible nighmares, so we went and bought a dream catcher (i think this was just to settle our minds lol) anyway a few weeks later strange things have started to happen, 1) the hover falling over in the middle of the night 2)doors closing on there own (doors that do not just fall shut) 3)my hair straighteners falling to the floor in the night and 5) a strange 'snake hissing sound' in the night? I don't feel this is a bad presence but why is it happening, what do you suggest - I know there are people that will think i am being silly so if you think like that please don't give me abuse

sorry i missed out number 4 lol, and my straighteners are square!! I do know what a 'draft' is there is no need to be patronizing, thankyou.
I wish people would not put those kind of scornful comments. I'm going to give you an actual understanding comment.
If you want to know for sure if you may have a ghost. Try this...
Hoover: Make sure the hoover is lay down or upright properly.
Door: Before going to bed check all doors are closed or propped open with something heavy and sturdy.
Hair straighteners: Make sure all items are in a central place where they can't physically move or fall off places by themselves, wires are not dangling down as they may fall off because of the wires caught on something.
Snake hissing sound: This could be numerous things, Check....
- Do you have any appliances on in the night like radiators, boilers, DVD players etc...
- Check if you have any trees that may have been brushing against the house at night.
- Check for signs of you having actual snakes! Eek!
- It might be your partner... Snoring Maybe?
- Do you have pets that could make this sound?
- Do you have anything on the floor that could move and make the noise (e.g. paper) in case of a draft?
- You might have imagined it? Not doubting you...
Can you be sure they have been happening for a while and are not just the outcomes a freak earthquake tremor? Or something in the likes....
