Where are the PC game save files in Windows 7?

I can't find the save folders in which the save files of PC games are located in Windows 7.

On Windows XP, I am able to find the save folder and its save files within the location where I installed the game.

It depends on the game. Often they're in the Documents library, but sometimes they're in the game's original directory. You may need to turn on 'view hidden files' to see the necessary folders: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/394-hidden-files-folders-show-hide.html
