6 hour car ride....?
I have 5 kids and were going on a 6 hour car ride on July 26th. Very exicting! I have everything packed and ready, but I'm worried about the car ride.
We have:
- DVD player and 2 DVDs
- portable video game for each child (PSP, Nintendo DS, and leap frog) with a few games each
I'm not sure what else to do! For the younger ones I have my "Travel Junk" basket. That's filled with McDonald's toys, dollar store toys, etc that I just buy/get and toss them in there through the year. When the time of a trip comes, I have some fun to hand out.
Other then that, what else should I do?
Get coloring books for the younger kids, I'm thirteen and that gets me to shutup in the car lol. Um get like a tennis ball or something for the older kids, when I'm in the car I liek throw around a ball and it helps. Get out every now and again and let them strech their legs otherwise your gonna have soe crankyyykids. If you have an ipod put like 20 favorite songs for each kid, and then switch around the ipod so that they can like listen to it for a little bit. Broken cell phones ar efun to play with lol, idk lmfao I just like it. Bring blankets and stuff, because it's summer & your gonna have the a.c on most likely and sometimes one kid will be cold, one kid will be hot, and so if you have the blanket their both happy. And if all else fails use some tape to shut their mouffs. lmao jkjk, don't do that.haha.
