I worked two jobs through them not counting the one day job very very low pay brought home a 38 some dollar check and the next one was for four weeks it was a 6.25 an hour job in a very cold workplace making veggie platters and fruit platters and fruit cups and cauliflower and broccoli trays it was a very small factory with only one shift you started at eight in the morning and didn't know when you would get out of there, sometimes ten at night having to catch a bus. working with aggressive people too, men who bothered you, and the other was on call you didn't know what days or hours you worked but at lease there was an out time. I didn't want to come in one two or three weekends and I looked on calendar I went in more weekends than didn't and every person I talked to at the agency tells me a different story the big boss lady told me with emphasize on the word used me when the regulars called off I was a regular there were only five temps that should up for weeks.
Usually with a staffing agency you are called and offered a job. It is your choice if you are interested in the job and you want to take it. They will not pressure you, they just move on to the next. Perhaps you should go register with a few other agencies because you should be making more per hour than that. Try Adecco, I am sure they have one there.
