Is it possible that I'm "slow"? Is there an official diagnosis for my type of slowness?
I've done ok in school but ever since i was little i've felt behind. i never understand complex movies and their twists when everyone else does, same thing with jokes. it literally takes some thought power for me to count, simple addition and subtraction i can't do without writing it down, etc.....
i say the stupidist things in class and never get it (especially math) until someone helps me.
for example, i've taken some of the easiest math classes and the teacher will assign a really easy test and say "none of you should get below a 90" and i'll fail it.
people have even asked me if i'm blond (just to make fun of me-even tho i'm a guy and not blond).

I don't think there is anything wrong with you. Your writing is great. I don't know what grade you are in but you can always go to your counselor and explain how you are feeling about this. There are tests they can do as well but I wouldn't worry about it. You could start reading books to grasp and understand other things, widen your knowledge base. As for math there are a lot of ppl that have a hard time with it. Doesnt mean you are stupid. Remember people learn different ways as well. If your counselor doesnt help you, ask to speak to the school psychologist. THey check you for a learning disability. Good luck.
