To those that say Iraq is illegal and we have lost and why are we there, have you ever spoken to soldier's ?
Returning home from Vietnam soldiers were spit upon. Desert Storm they asked "what can we expect?"
Have you thought carefully the message you send to our brave
and fallen heroes fighting for your right to buy, spend, live & breathe freely.

we also met at the base after and talked w/families
Last year I saw some kids at the airport sing christmas carols for a group of soldiers coming home. It was touching, until I looked at the writing on their backpacks..."deathbringer" "Widowmaker" "Bloodlust" and "Deathangel" LOL!
But I have talked to the soldiers and just like the US some say they should be there, but others feel its a waste with no mission or purpose, and in the middle of a civil war.
Truth of the matter is You don't have to support this war to support the troops. Just because you disagree with the war and why we are there, DOES NOT mean we don't support the troops thats Bushy and Cheney spinning it their way.
Whenever they talk about Iraq, count how many times they mention 9/11 even though Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11 rather Afghanistan did and that's where we should focus, but we're losing that as well.
Read between the lines! When we invaded we were told, clear and present danger, and mushroom cloud and National security...yet when we went in, all of a sudden it was Iraqi Freedom? And that we had to free the people from Sadaam.
Fine, but that's not the reasons that were told in the beginning. If thats the case, what about China, Cuba, Vietnam, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, North Korea ALL countries that have just as bad leaders and lack of freedom if not WORSE than Iraq. And, some of them are considered "friendly and our friends!!" LOL Go to Wal-Mart and try and find something that wasn't made in COMMUNIST, oppressive-Tiennamen square- murdering-and-burning the- bodies- China?
And as for Vietnam, does My Lai massacre ring a bell?
Don't follow blindly, use the freedom we were given, to learn about history and some of the relations we have with other countries. Remember, WE gave Iraq and Saddam weapons, and bombs, and poison gas to fight Iran for us, Saddam was our friend, for many years!! Look it up.
